MGEN EXPANDS MARKET PRESENCE WITH
NEW OFFICE IN WASHINGTON, D.C. METROPLEX

- June 19, 2002 - mGen, Inc., a leading developer
of advanced distributed knowledge, human capital and
learning management systems, today announced the expansion
of its presence in the Washington, D.C. area, with the
opening of a new office in Arlington, Virginia to support
current and future customers in the region. In recent
months, mGen has expanded sales, marketing and product
development teams, while unleashing the newest version
of mGen Enterprise. The Arlington facility is the latest
step in mGen's plan to capitalize on the growing demand
for its knowledge asset management solution.

In the largest federal information technology
contract in history, mGen provides distance learning
and training to 800,000 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel.
mGen also delivers state-of-the-art distance learning
to U.S. Army officers and soldiers throughout the country,
while providing the U.S. Department of Agriculture with
a platform to deliver training and communications materials
to 110,000 employees and, eventually, public/private
sector clients across the U.S.
