Mass. – July 22, 2002– mGen Inc., a leading developer

Jack Battersby will speak in a session titled, "e-Learning
& KM: Bringing it All Together," at the KMWorld 2002
conference, in Santa Clara, Calif. on October 30, 2002.
Battersby will discuss the importance
of blending related, but separate, knowledge based initiatives-including
human capital management, training and learning, knowledge
communities, and news and information-to create a fully
integrated organizational communications system. Participants
will learn how mGen is working with the Navy Marine
Corps Intranet Project, which implemented a distributed
architecture to provide rich media to more than 360,000
desktops and interconnect a total user population of
800,000 individual users.
